15th of February 2007 We will be touring this winter with Brightblack, followed by a spring tour with Sean Lennon. All this will remain in America. We have many songs that we plan to record , or put out in the near future. Attacknine will be re-issuing the first record, and it will come with a bonus disk of outtakes, remixes and songs recorded around that time that never saw the light of day. Olivier's been putting together a new record in Paris, and Jamie has been completing a book he's been writing in New York. We intend to get back to playing with them again at some point sooner than later. We have been playing with John Webster Johns for all the last shows and upcoming shows. We played a few shows with Mike Fellows in New York, and have had Rupert Clairveux sit in with us on drums for the Scandinavian tour. Also, a music video for Oranges was shot by Michael Grodner in LA which is now being edited and should be out in the coming weeks. There is also that Madonna covers tribute album from Manimal Vinyl that we will be doing the song either Burnin Up or Holiday for. 18th of December 2006
7th of December 2006 As part of the CMJ Marathon, Women and Children did a live studio recording of three songs for mp3.com. 3rd of October 2006 Some new shows in New York and California. Also, you can buy some songs and download them online at womenandchildren.cruxy.com
Check out the Women and Children myspace page to listen to a couple of songs from the box set. 13th of February 2006 Dusted magazine have a review the Box Set. 16th of December 2006 There are upcoming shows in Los Angeles that will be confirmed soon. On the 28th there will be a show at The Smell in downtown LA with Entrance. Also, there is a Box Set review which appears in Les Inrocks magazine. 12th of January 2006 W&C have just been confirmed for the SXSW festival in March in Austin Texas. We're also confirmed for a show at the Hemlock Tavern on Jan 22nd w/ Sic Alps. 5th of December 2005 We did a show in paris at La Femis (cinema school), Agnès Varda presented one of her late 60's film starring Viva Superstar called "Lion's love" , we played after the presentation. We've been confirmed as well for the "quiet quiet ocean spell" festival in Big Sur California at the end of January. 15th of November 2005 A short review of the Box Set on boomkat.com, and some photos from All Tomorrow's Parties. 14th of November 2005 We're gonna open for The Kills on the 16th of November in Tourcoing (France), the venue is Le Grand Mix and on the 18th in Montpellier at the "Rockstore". 4th of October 2005 A new show - an instore at Rough Trade on Wednesday the 26th of October in London. 16th of September 2005 Julien Taylor has taken some amazing photos at the last couple of shows - Le Milliardaires and Les Voutes. 5th of September 2005 Another new show coming up - it's on the 30th of October in London at The Luminaire supporting Andrew Bird with Absentee. It is being presented by Eat Your Own Ears 1st of August 2005 A new show coming up - it's on september 8 in Paris at Le Milliardaire. 26th of July 2005
20th of May 2005 Some photos from All Tomorrow's Parties. 19th of May 2005 The box set is very near to finally being ready! Everything is done except the manufacturing of the dvd, which should just take another two weeks... You should be able to place orders at Hallso very soon. There are some new things on the site - two photos, an interview with Setting Sun, and also a couple of reviews of All Tomorrow's Parties, one in french and one in english. And one last thing - there is a show planned for 16th of June at Les Voutes in Paris. 16th of February 2005 There is a new review to read. 28th of January 2005 Have a look at this clip from the dvd that Will Fratesi is making. Also there are two songs from the "Women & Children" album and three from the new demo that you can download and listen to. 13th of January 2005 There are a couple of shows coming up: The Quiet Quiet Window Lights festival in San Francisco on the 21st of January, and another show the next week on the 23rd at the Hemlock Tavern in San Francisco. Women & Children have also been invited to the All Tomorrows Parties festival in England this April (Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th). There are some new reviews to read and a few photos from shows in 2003 to look at as well. 29th of November 2004 A new show - 5th of December in Paris at Le Baron. Some new photos from LA and the Troubador. The show at Cinespace in Los Angeles in the 8th of July has been cancelled. There should be a whole bunch of interesting updates coming soon! Women and Children are recording more music in Los Angeles at the moment. A box set is in the works!. June did some shows in Japan with Cat Power.
